1. About FPL Pals

FPL Pals is an independent community platform for Fantasy Premier League managers. Features may include league and help chat, reactions, AI assistants grounded in public FPL data, in-app notifications, a guest/demo experience, and optional once-off Pro or league activation purchases.

FPL Pals is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Premier League, Fantasy Premier League, or related rights holders. Official FPL branding and marks belong to their owners.

2. Accounts

You can sign in with Google OAuth or with a local email and password. You may link both methods to the same account in Settings. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account.

You can change your nickname and password in Settings when signed in. Use Forgot password on the login page to receive a one-time reset link by email. Account deletion is not self-serve yet — email contact@fplpals.com to request deletion.

3. Linking your FPL team

You may link a Fantasy Premier League Entry ID so we can show public team and league information. Linking uses the public FPL API only. We never ask for, and you should never provide, your FPL website password.

4. Chat and community features

League chat and help chat use real-time messaging (including SignalR). You may post messages and reactions. Do not harass others, spam, share illegal content, attempt to disrupt the service, or misuse other people’s data.

League, help, and related chat messages are retained for the active FPL gameweek window; older gameweek messages may be permanently deleted as part of normal retention.

We may remove content or restrict access when needed to protect the service or other users.

5. AI features

AI replies are generated by configurable third-party providers (currently including Google Gemini and OpenAI). Your chat messages and relevant FPL-derived context may be sent to the configured provider to generate replies. AI output can be wrong or incomplete — use it as assistance, not as a guarantee.

Guest/demo chat experiences may use scripted replies and may not call live AI providers.

6. Payments

Optional Pro membership and league activation fees are charged as once-off payments through Stripe Checkout. Card details are handled by Stripe; FPL Pals does not store your full card number on our servers.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep FPL Pals available, including as a progressive web app (PWA). Features may change, pause, or end. We are not liable for downtime, data from third-party APIs (including FPL), or losses arising from reliance on AI or community content, except where law does not allow that limit.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus and applicable European Union law. Courts in Cyprus have jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
